A charity becerrada for food bank programmed in Granada on 28.12.2013 has been postponed to fourth of January 2014. Becerrada was cancelled because heavy rain had damaged bullrings arena sand.

Bullfighter Victor Janeiro´s new managers are Pabecema S.L company and Antonion Saiz. The managing agreement is for an idefinite period of time.

Spain: Villaseca de Sagra bullfight contest on 12.4.2014.

A bullfight contest will be held in Villaseca de Sagra to promote bullfight. Aspirants for a place in com- petition must be 16 to 21 years old who are enroll in professional bullfight register and who have not performed yet with picadors. Jury will select 25 most appropiate candidates who will participate in 5 different tientas in five different prestigious bullranches under bullfighters supervision. Six most succesfull novilleros will participate in a novillada on 12.4 where a winner will be chosen.

Contest is open to all nationalities.

Bullfighter Julián López el "Juli" organizes a charity bullfight for banderillero Niño de Leganés. Niño de Leganés was part of El Juli´s cuadrilla untill he was severely wounded in Seville March 2013.

Spain: Guadalajara bullring.

Fomentauro has been granted one year contract extension to manage Guadalajara bullring. Feria 2014 will have a minimun of three bullfights according to the contract made with the town hall.

Spain: Madrid Feria de San Isidro 2014 bullfights start on 11.5.2014.

Madrid San Isidro Feria 2014 bullfights start exceptionally on 11.5, three days later than the previous years. Change was made to the schedule to prevent Sevilla Feria de Abril and Madrid San Isidro Feria from overlap on the last days.

In all 31 bullfights, including three novilladas with picadors, four rejones bullfights, a charity bullfight and a press bullfight, will be held on San Isidro Feria 2014.

Madrid Las Ventas bullring spectator numbers in bullfigts in the year 2013 were 890000 spectators.
54 bullfighters, 50 novilleros, 8 rejoneadores and 3 novilleros without picadors fought in Madrid in the bullfight season 2013. In total 33 bulls ears were cut and 24 circuits of bullring were made.17 bullfighters were wounded in Las Ventas bullring during season 2013.

372 bulls were fought from 73 different bullranches. Average weight of the bulls was 547.8 kg and average weight of novillos was 489.2 kg.
