More then 700000 seats were sold to bullfights in Castilla y León in the 2015 bullfight season between second class bullrings, third class bullrings and portable bullrings where 375 bullfights and novilladas were held.
Bullfights are very important economical, ecological, and cultural factor in Castilla y León says secretary of culture José Rodríguez Sanz-Pastor. Bullfights move 850 million euros which has a direct impact on 13000 jobs.
Two out of three inhabitants of Castilla y León saw a bullfght on the season 2015.
