Arles 2017 bullfight days have been announced.

Feria des Pâques bullfights will be held from 14.4. to 17.4.2017. Feria du Riz bullfights will be held from 9.9. to 10.9.2017.

Spanish Supreme Court says the state of Spain has the right to protect bullfight even if it´s not to everybody´s liking. Eight of the Supreme Court´s judges voted yes to the protection proposal and three voted against.

Spain: Melilla bullring history

Melilla bullring history begins in 1946 when the  bullring was opened with D. Antonio Pérez de San Fernando bullranch and with Pepe Luís Vázquez, Rafael Albaicín and Pepín Martin as the bullfighters.

First bullfight took place on officially finished bullring 1947 with Santa Coloma, Joaquin Buendía bullranches, with Gitanillo de Triana, Manolete and Pepín Martín Vázquez as the announced bullfighters although Manolete was killed by a bull only eight days before the inauguration in Linares bullring. The definitive inaugural bullfight was formed by Domingo Ortega, Gitanillo de Triana, Luís Miguel Dominguín and "Parrita".

Spain: At least three bullfights will be held in Vitoria-Gasteiz in 2017

At least three bullfights will be held in Vitoria-Gasteiz Iradier Arena on the 2017 bullfight season after new conditions for the use of the bullring were approved by the Vitoria-Gasteiz town hall.
