Spanish official state bulletin has published today the law that declares bullfighting as Spanish cultural heritage.
The law will take effect tomorrow.

France: Number of bullfights increased in 2013.

Number of bullfights increased in France in 2013 compared to the year 2012.

In total 212 bullfights were held in France in 2013 compared to 210 bullfights in the previous year. Five bullfights more were held in 3º class bullrings compared to the previous year.

Number of bullfights are back on 2011 level after a decrease of 8,5% in 2012.

In 2013 a total of 71 bullfights, 32 novilladas, 16 rejones bulfights and one mixta bullfight were held in France.
