Bullfight is a good business for Spain. In the year 2014 bullfights produced 45 million euros for treasury in tickets taxing which is 62,4% more than what the tax on films produce. Films produced 27,7 million euros in tax income for Spain.
Bullfighting doesn´t receive any state financial support while films will receive 60 million euros on state financial support.
